This gorgeous nose shows violets and a hint of allspice. Red plum and white pepper kick in on the palate with a soft tannin background. The finish is smooth and delightful.

Cinnamon, meaty mushroom, and a hint of truffle mesmerize you on the nose. Flavors of creamy, mushroom risotto with a hint of black fruit in the background coat the palate. The finish brings the wine together and beckons another sip.

2018 Mourvedre figlio e nuora, Camp 4 Vineyard – 96 points
The nose shows beautiful red fruit and a hint of baking spices; bing cherry, red plum, and raspberries. The tannins are ripe and silky on the palate giving a wonderful mouth feel. The finish is soft and nice.

2018 Syrah Reserve, Jack McGinley Vineyard – 91 points
The color from this very cool vintage is darker than normal. Red raspberries dominate the nose. The raspberry expands to red plum on the palate. The extended growing season gives this wine very silky tannins. The finish is gentle and long.
